My name is Mary Anna Leamons. I was born in Driftwood, TX. My Major is Early Childhood to 6th grade-Generalist Certification with all-level special education. I have already accomplished getting my Associates and now am working on getting my Bachelor’s Degree. The person who has influenced me the most in my life is my Papa. Papa encouraged me to get an education. He encouraged me to be successful in life. There were times that I was down and he encouraged me. He never quit believing in me. Three words that I have been told that describe me are music, smile, and fun. I love music and it is an important part of my life. I love to smile and I love to make other people smile through being funny and humorous. I love to have fun in every situation in life. I believe life becomes what you make it out to be. It all depends on your outlook in life. My motivation in life comes from my faith in God. God has blessed me greatly throughout my whole life. My life has not always been easy. I struggled through various trials. God never left my side and was it was my faith in God that got me to where I am today. I struggled knowing what my goals were in life until God lead me into the right pathway. God has provided scholarships that helped me to get through the first two years of my school. Knowing that God had great plans for me encourages me to follow the dream that he put in my heart. I believe that in order to receive what God has to offer to me, I have to meet Him half way. My career aspirations are to become a teacher. My dream is to one day in the future teach deaf children. I want to be a positive influence to the children that I teach. I want to reach out and impact people’s lives.
